Stating/Newbie Guide A Guide for Newbies and Staters to help make starting out a much easier thing to do. Its goal is to answer common questions that a newbie might have, and give helpful information on how to begin the process of starting a new character. Help Newbie Text Taken directly from the help newbie text of the mud, by the permission of Nass. I have formatted it in a different readable text and added easy anchor links to make getting its information faster. Also is much easier then trying to read on the mud, given some players cannot scroll up, and the Size of this text is large enough to cause problems getting back to your spot. What are Stats? This gives a brief description of the usage of each of a player's base stats. Outlining the part they play in the game. Hopefully giving you a better idea of what you need each stat for, and answering any question you might have on the subject. What are good stats? This section is more for the stater, then the newbie, but can be very helpful for an earlier character to identify a good set of base stats. This outlines decent playable stats as are currently viewed by the majority of the mud. Helps in deciding whether to try again or to keep and play out. Note: the stats shown are by no means good. However, they are playable. Basic Commands A small explanation of many basic commands that are needed in the game. Some are already discussed in the Help Newbie text. Though, many are not, and are valuable to know. This pages does NOT explain every command in the game, but certainly can get you started. Skill Descriptions A detailed explaination of each skill, organized by class. This page will tell you how to use a skill, what a skill does, and suggest an amount that you should practice a skill if you decide to use it. Practice Guide A guide to practicing your character. This will give you the basics on what you need, and how much you need it, depending on how you want your character to advance. Whether, dodger, combo, abs, or stab, this page will tell you what you need to know. Spams from Caem A collection of spams (directions) from Caemilyn to other part of the land surrounding there. This should answer the question of, "where is the warrior prac?" etc. I suggest reading this if you are new to the mud. (will be expanded in time) Common Abbreviations Also something you should look at if you are new to the mud. This section contains a list of common abbreviations used on the mud. This includes abbreviations for places as well as short phrases. Helpful Hints Seven things that you should know to be a member of the mud. These are hints to not pissing people off, doing things other then these can result in getting yourself killed, wanted, banned, etc. *other nasty things that I should not go into*
