The Red Eagles Thu Apr 19 (Manni) :: The Old Blood Flows Strong! Let me introduce myself. Howdy, my name is Manni d'Shays of Emond's Field, originally of Fal Moran and I am a Red Eagle. Recently, strange events have been occuring in the Two Rivers and our little villages have become staging grounds for a military campaign of sorts against strange and new invaders. I would admonish all of you to be wary if you have business in these areas, for you may be attacked by them. The Red Eagle army, as well as the Children of the Light have been doing what they can to combat the invasion force and we are upping security against them day by day, be assured. However, this is not the reason for my post... Events are pointing to a something important in the future. Our small villages are being beset on by trolloc raiding parties from ancient waygates as well as these strange and foreign invaders. As such, during our campaigning, I keep an eye out for my lost brothers, those who have forgotten what they are... The Old Blood of the forgotten Mountain Home. What does this mean? Ages ago, beyond any time recorded in the most ancient of libraries, the kingdom of Manetheren was fiercest in it's battle against the Shadow. In time, the kingdom perished fighting it's good fight, but the Old Blood of the kingdom's greatest heroes has managed to survive and flow into our modern age. The Wheel has respun those who were the strongest into this age to fight once again. Today, I and my brothers in the Red Eagle army, seek our lost and missing brothers constantly. If a person has been known to display knowledge they have no way of knowing, breaks out into speaking what appears to be gibberish, or exhibits some familiar quirk one of us recognizes from our fuzzy memories, we pursue them to see if they have the Old Blood in them. It is rare to have the Old Blood in you. Our army is almost complete, but there are still faces missing in my recollection who must be found and reunited with us.
