A While Ago (Nevelo) :: The Seanchan Routed

It was a great day, I was exploring the area's south west
of Yander, destroying the scum of the earth, the Seanchan,
and their filthy animals, when I hear of an attack. A huge
party of Seanchan are near tear, heading north. Moraen, who
was with me, and myself where alarmed at the news, after
slaying another Seanchan, we rushed from the plains.
Galloping as fast as our horses could handle we past through
Yander in a flash. Hurrying through the tunnels, pasting
the hard working miners we made it to Emonds Field within
hours of our first message. Hoping not to lose time we
sped through the plains to Lugard. We had by then heard
from the people in the area, that the Seanchan had moved
north. Afraid that Caemlyn might fall to the hordes of Seanchan
we did not waste our time asking for more information.
Only a half a day through our trip we had finally made it to
Caemlyn, our horses haggard, almost dead. We took them
only as far as the stables to get fresh ones for the fight.
Caemlyn at that time was a mass of confusion, massive amounts
of people gathering at the South Gate. Some wondering what
was happening, others irritated and wanted to attack.
I decided to pass through the gates, ignoring the peoples
bellows. I split up with Moraen, I had to find the Seanchan.
I spent little time idle, and began to track the massive army
to the caves in Kintara. Bravely - almost stupidly - I
dismounted and took my search to the cave. I walked into
its depths, dark and wet. I lit a lantern to see better, and
before me stood a squadron of Seanchan. I looked franticly
for my exit, but behind me, the soldiers had blocked
off the exit. My thoughts raced, and I searched for escape.
I saw and fled to my only option, deeper into the cave.
My efforts seemed futile, even more Seanchan stood waiting
for me, I darted past them, even deeper, but even more
Seanchan. I could not imagine that they had so many here.
Beaten and battered from attacks from all sides, I tried to
collect my thoughts. Like a rabbit I turned, and sprung back
into the fray, I had to get out and warn people. My
efforts almost cost me my life, I dodged and ran for the exit.
My running must have thrown them into chaos trying
to track me down and I, with a stroke of the creator's luck,
slipped out of the cave, although in a critical condition.
I finally felt the pain of all the wounds I suffered, I almost
could not make it to the South Gate. Almost mortally wounded,
I laid at South Gate. My only hope came in the form of
Calaway. She found me, and healed me back to life. After
thanking her many times, I clamored up, hefted my axe from
its harness, and rallied all the help I could get. With a
powerful force at my lead, I took them to the Cave's entrance.
We took them by surprise, and killed at least 3 squadrons
in our assault. We had to fall back, they where simply just
too many. When we retreated out of the Cave, however,
it seemed, under Tarn's lead, many other weapon able
people had organized to help with the fight. We soon struck
again, and with a blow rarely seen, we slaughtered the
remaining Seanchan and their commander. Caemlyn had been
saved, saved by the work of many good people. Tarn,
Gilgan, Moraen, so many I could not remember. The
Seanchan where defeated horribly.

Let it be a lesson.
